Bio for H. Kelly & Chastity McKnight, PhD

Dr. H. Kelly McKnight has a diverse background in business and ministry. He is a former Marine and Viet Nam veteran. Dr. McKnight has traveled throughout the world [17 countries]. He lived as a civilian in Seoul, South Korea for 2 years, as he oversaw the building of a university and directed the religious education department for the U.S. Eighth Army.

After his return from Korea, he entered the field of insurance, quickly working his way up from an entry-level position to that of Vice President within a period of 18 months.
 

While serving as Vice President of Sales for a company in Atlanta GA, and as Worship Leader in a local church, he met the pastor’s daughter, who was to later become his wife. He and Chastity were married on January 25, 1994.

In October of 1997, they joined the Excalibur Marketing and Associates group in Atlanta, GA. Dr. McKnight served as Vice President of their Sales and Marketing group with Chastity serving as Administrative Assistant for eight years.

In February of 1998, the McKnights were asked to consider serving as the Ministers of Music at Bible Deliverance Temple. After a time of prayer and fasting, in March of 1998, they became a part of the church staff, commuting weekly between Atlanta and Augusta. Nine months Later Kelly was promoted to the position of Associate Pastor and Chastity to the position of Minister of Music. She has a unique anointing that God is using, through her music, to bring encouragement and healing to His children. Chastity is also president of the Freedom Travel Network.

On June 20, 2004, Dr. McKnight was ordained as the Senior Pastor and CEO of Bible Deliverance Temple, Inc. He also serves as CEO of Another Chance Ministry Network and the Harrisburg Family Life Center, located in the inner-city of Augusta GA which ministers to an average of 300 children per week, serves over 10,000 meals [free] per year and provides clothing for hundreds of children and adults throughout the year.

In August of 2007, he was appointed as President-CEO of the Freedom Financial Services Network and its affiliate company the Freedom Financial Opportunity Network. FFSN-FFON is a financial services marketing company representing some of the leading banks, insurance companies and fund-raising programs in the nation.

Dr. McKnight currently serves on the Board of Regents for Logos University, along with its Bible College and Graduate Schools in Jacksonville FL. In February of 2004, he was appointed to serve as Southeast Regional Director for the Logos Global Network. In March 2007, he was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Development and Member Care for Logos. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the NFL Alumni Association [Atlanta].
